Health Systems Support Framework (HSSF)

Health Systems Support Framework (HSSF) (HSSF) is a UK public-sector framework agreement managed by NHS England. It has passed its expected expiry (July 2024). Strategic, digital, analytical and transformation support for NHS commissioners, ICBs and provider collaboratives.

When does it re-tender?

The current term is expected to end around July 2024. The re-tender competition typically opens in the months before that date, so the practical window to prepare a bid is roughly October 2023 onward. It was awarded July 2020 for a 4-year term.

Closed to new call-offs July 2024. A successor is planned but not confirmed as of August 2026.

How to prepare a bid

• DBS checks, professional registration and a safeguarding policy
• Relevant security accreditations (ISO 27001, NCSC-aligned practices)
• Confirm the exact re-tender dates against the source notice; frameworks are frequently extended.
